Kids Sewing Camp – round 1

image      I completed the first session of Kids Sewing Camp.  Two more sessions scheduled for July and August.  The first day, the four girls made a headband, sunglass case and a fabric tray.  All these projects used straight line sewing, backstitching, and turning the projects right side out. Day 2 they made a “grab n go” reversible bag – also called a Japanese knot bag.    imageThey were very excited about picking out the fabric for their bag.  This project required sewing on curved lines and turning the project inside out.  The last day  they made a reversible bandana apron and a stuffed animal of their own design and colored with fabric markers.  They had fun making the sewing projects.  Keep having fun sewing and quilting.  Donna
